The Championship Course
Laid out in 1924, restored in 2019 to its original routing — 7,148 yards of rolling parkland, creeks and two lakes, walked by members for a century.

Firm, fast fairways and small, contoured greens reward a ground game. Thirty-eight hand-cut bunkers, two lakes and Willow Brook come into play on eleven holes.

Warm up properly
Range balls are included with every green fee. The practice ground opens thirty minutes before the first tee time.

Putting course
A nine-hole putting course beside the terrace, lit until 10pm on summer evenings.
Short-game academy
Practice bunkers of every depth, plus lessons from our four PGA professionals.
The few rules we keep
Dress
Collared shirts, tailored shorts or trousers. Soft spikes only.
Pace
Four hours fifteen for a fourball. Keep up with the group in front.
Care
Repair pitch marks, rake bunkers and replace divots with seed.
Phones
Silent on the course; calls in the car park or the locker room.
